About me/Opus:

My name is Jess and I've had the privilege of guiding 100+ students through their individual high school journeys. In my own HSC, I obtained state rank of 2nd in NSW in English Extension 1 and 2nd in NSW in Latin Extension, achieving an ATAR of 99.95 after graduating from Meriden School. I’ve since honed valuable insight into tailoring personalised English tutoring programs to unique student needs and school-specific expectations through more than five years of tutoring and majoring in English Literature at university. lol I swear nearly every school in nsw does Shakespeare for mod b instead of mod a and it pmo cause I found so many resources and people who could have helped me after I did my exam

I swear every school does well known texts except our school which does these unknown poems and films. Plus they always give us 2 texts for every damn module when some only have 1 for mod b or common mod. And literally nearly every text we've done is about feminism and they keep on shoving it down our throats. I really hope there aren't any texts about feminism for hsc cause I'm sick and tired of doing the same thing over and over again. Like they don't have to indoctrinate us into feminists pls.

And we're literally the only school in the state that does a 3hr eng prelim. Like pls let us live. I hate the eng department at my school. Ok rant over
