They get your hsc marks so I suppose they could determine your atar, but uac doesn't tell your school

No the school doesn't get your atar, but they get your hsc raw marks IIRC. That is also why a lot of schools invite their students to an 'atar morning tea' to get the atars off the students. (Maybe to boast about it, or help their atar calculation system? haha I skipped the 'atar morning tea' at my school XD)

Yep can confirm that they invite you there to snoop on ATARs as they aren't provided with this info. My school doesn't even do ATAR predictions so idk what they do with the data.

My school puts the highest marks on the big screen right outside my school with the picture of the students

if my school picture turns out ugly next year I ain’t telling them my atar

I wish they’d just let us look at them and RETAKE in case we look fucking hideous but noOooo ONE TRY
