Hi, I was just wondering, for the trial and hsc exam for english, i am going to write a base essay. for e.g. t.s. eliot i would have a paragraph on each poem in an essay, and in the real exam, just use the one that i need. and similar for the other modules. is this recommended? if not, how else should i do it?

thanks!

you can select your poems to write on but in recent years they have said you must write about a particular poem and at lest one other . 8 will send an exampl3 shortly

introduction should be basically the same for whatever poem. You are only expected to write about 2 or 3 although you should of course be able to write about any of them . So pick your top three

example of what I mean by they might select a poem

Despite appearing fragmented and unstructured, Eliot’s poetry is both controlled and

purposeful. To what extent is this true? In your response make detailed reference to “Preludes

and at least ONE other poem set for study
