How to approach 'how do these extracts..." questions (1 Viewer)

Im back cause im genuinely lost on this: in an extract question, specifically for mod A, how many quotes should i be pulling from the extract (in this case 2 extracts) given. with a 4 paragraph structure (2 paras for each text), would i take 1 quote from each extract and place them in the more relevant paras, and place specific references to the extracts throughout the entire essay? or would i place 1 quote from each extract in all 4 paras (total 2 quotes from both of the 2 extracts)? the issue with this approach is that the extracts are usually relatively short and only mention 1 core theme, while our essays are generally talking about two separate themes, so using a second quote from each extract feels like its not adding anything, and sometimes nor is it relevant to both of the themes of your essay only one? any advice appreciated

idrk either tbh but i asked my teacher this last term and bro said like u could do it in a lot of diff ways... i think u could sorta base ur essay around the idea represented in the extract and at least make reference to a quote from it like at least once per para if u do 4 para, or just make sure ur referencing it really consistently throughout and deeply analyse it BUT IDK
