I got humbled big time . I got worse than people who barely studied, whilst I worked hard. But it was a waste

Ayo... how do English Extension 2'ers feel about the entire course being (finally) over as of yesterday? Personally, I'm not free of major work stress yet because Visual Arts is due in like 9 days or something wild

I pulled an all nighter and ended up not sleeping for 36 hours, and soooo much stress towards the end but at least its over! The only thing I feel like I couldve spent more time on is the reflection ngl
But literally im the exact same for art coming up, theres so much i still have it do i can smell the sunday night all nighter already…

I have just such a weird feeling of guilt. Like very fulfilled but now idek what to do with myself. I also have art due next week but that's done, just working on my diary. Congrats to everyone who finished!!!!!

It’s the way so many of us also do art lol. My major work was about the exploration of the circular nature of art through a screenplay set during a dinner discussion

I don’t have to stay at school until 5:30 on thurdays anymore so I’m quite relieved

ok then it's ur turn to talk about prelims lol. What's one piece advice u would give urself last year before prelims?

tbh i left prelims last minute and managed to get above 80 for each subject. advice will be to not stress abt it too much.
do not leave ur math study last minute, do a paper every two days. i managed to pull an 88 studying the night before due to prayers and yearning as a last resort (this technique will not work for everyone)
enjoy ur last piss easy english exam before year 12
i studied sor 45 minutes before the exam and managed to pull a 90, i highly recommend
make sure ur notes are done a week prior ur exams

and if u dont get the results u want, who tf cares. ik theres all this talk abt early entry but majority of universitys will accept anyone despite ur grades. the only time it matters is when it comes to degrees like medicine, which dont even accept early entry.
atleast u have year 12 to lock in, cuz at the end of the day ur atar matters more than ur year 11 marks. i havent thought abt my year 11 marks since prelims

annddddd dont stress when u enter term 1 of year 12. thats the chillest term ever. u do not need to study that much unless ur aiming 99.95. the most u need to do this term is ur homework and listen in class. leave the 6 week holiday for making ur notes for all ur subjects.
good luck for year 12, its very long and drains u
