tbh i left prelims last minute and managed to get above 80 for each subject. advice will be to not stress abt it too much.
do not leave ur math study last minute, do a paper every two days. i managed to pull an 88 studying the night before due to prayers and yearning as a last resort (this technique will not work for everyone)
enjoy ur last piss easy english exam before year 12
i studied sor 45 minutes before the exam and managed to pull a 90, i highly recommend
make sure ur notes are done a week prior ur exams

and if u dont get the results u want, who tf cares. ik theres all this talk abt early entry but majority of universitys will accept anyone despite ur grades. the only time it matters is when it comes to degrees like medicine, which dont even accept early entry.
atleast u have year 12 to lock in, cuz at the end of the day ur atar matters more than ur year 11 marks. i havent thought abt my year 11 marks since prelims

annddddd dont stress when u enter term 1 of year 12. thats the chillest term ever. u do not need to study that much unless ur aiming 99.95. the most u need to do this term is ur homework and listen in class. leave the 6 week holiday for making ur notes for all ur subjects.
good luck for year 12, its very long and drains u
lol don't worry that's what I've been doing for sor for the last 2 exams lol. I'm just trying to enjoy the last term where nothing counts lol. " make sure ur notes are done a week prior ur exams"- yeah nah that prob won't happen for some of my subjects lol

I really don't like how some subjects have an additional exam before prelims. :oldfrown:
I have a japanese speaking exam the week before as well, and then I have another japanese exam for the other skills during the actual prelims.

No and our teacher is lazy so idk what to expect, because he might treat trials more seriously than that one assessment that took him months to return our results

Well I don't know if you will have the same exam as me, but here are the questions I remember (sorry I have bad memory with these sorts of things):

a few asking which implementation type should be used for a given situation, and to justify why this implementation type is advantageous against others

An SQL question, where data had to be selected from a table, then filtered, then sorted by last name

We had to draw one data flow diagram and one decision tree for a given situation (mine was an app used by students and staff to organise events)> We also had to draw a sample UI.

Filling out tables with missing information, like a sample data with missing values for data type, value length

Filling out a table with definitions, advantages, disadvantages for different implementation methods

has anyone got cssa english advanced back yet... how did we all do.....
I didn't do the exact CSSA paper, but i had some of the same short answer questions. I got 90% (36/40) on paper 1 which I am quite happy with. I got full marks on the short answers which I was shocked about, but lost 4 on the essay which wasn't too bad I thought.
