oh whoops sorry i thought u meant why they did all those different solutions, not how they got there
sinx is periodic (with a period of 2π) so if ur working out the solutions to sinx = something there will be infinite solutions.
adding/subtracting an integer multiple of 2π to any solutions u get for the range from 0 to 2π will thus also work (since the sine curve repeats every 2π)
from considering the unit circle, u can get that there is a solution in the 3rd quadrant and 4th quadrant which gives u the solutions for 0 ≤ 2theta ≤ 2π
(u could think of this as the angle such that the point on the unit circle as a y coordinate of -sqrt3/2 which is in the 3rd and 4th quadrant)
to get for -2π ≤ 2theta ≤ 2π therefore u subtract 2π from each of those 2 solutions.

Who else is cooked and has done 0 study (me). Whenever I try to study my body shuts down so I guess the universe just wants me to give up. I swear I need to get out of my house and do other stuff but my parents won't let me and it pmo. And then they blame me for not doing any exercise. Do u guys think if I talk to the school counsellor then they can explain to my year co/ teachers as to why I did so terrible on prelims

Talk to the school counsellor on about your mental wellbeing, you need off days and take walks without your phone to destress.

I think that external pressures distract us from the primordial essence of adolescence; self-expression, exploration and plain ol' fun! So while it is important to study, and have routine, at the end of the day, we are all just kids! We need to relaaaaax. Don't let a bad mark or the pressures of the HSC take the wind out of the very sails that make human life so exciting. Let go, and FLY

Hey, economics was alright today

Multiple choice was a bit iffy, with some hard questions on PPF's and economies of scale

Short answer was okay, mainly on markets and government intervention

The essay (25 marker) was pretty easy: 'Analyse how the Australian government's recent implementation of monetary and fiscal policy reflected fluctuations in the business cycle.'

We were given an inflation graph from the RBA and a statement from the Treasury
