does anyone know what SRS looks at? how likely am I to get a high selection course from SRS compared to direct entry?
I had pretty good marks in year 11 + my hsc maths results, but for some direct entries, my careers advisor told me to not put them from highest to lowest atar, and now i kinda feel like that was a waste bc the selection rank for my first preference was really low (85) and i probably couldve got it without early entry. now im wondering if i can give the courses with higher selection ranks another shot by putting them in my SRS?

yo bro honestly try to maximise your marks rn i dont get how this ranking thing works so like just try hard in the test and higher marks = higher ranks so u get the idea

they look at your year 11 scores and rank, and your schools rating of ur aptitudes. unfortunately you cant see what ratings ur school gave u so idk

u get the highest external mark. so u get the person who beat u in the actual hsc's mark

bruh the thing with srs is i have to see after the hsc if i get offers its so frustrating

genuinely what does a top 20 uni get for letting basically non dei deis get in for free?
