it does (vomitting, sickness, fatigute) but she didnt get it approved bc she came first for paper 1 and the teacher told her she’ll lose her marl and rank if she does (shes 4th overall)
it makes sense to me so maybe they hav3 changed it . I do know that food poisoning wasn’t considered because it was caused by you not by a long term illness etc so I’m glad they have fixed it

If u dont mind me asking, what did u do between the time after u finished ur bachelor and before u started ur diploma
Finished my bachelors, spent a year doing the grad program at my workplace, then I moved to ICU and spent a year doing a transition to ICU program, then started my grad dip.
Built a house, got engaged, went on a cruise

it depends on what degree u do. But for exams most likely yes unless u do something very mathy
In my bachelors I had like maybe 3 exams in the whole degree?
no exams in my grad dip
Tbh I do really feel the rote learning does depend on the degree and level of usefulness of the learning concept in practice.
Having done nursing a lot of the bachelors stuff was practical type skills, whilst the dip is more arty farty project management, quality improvement etc..
I find assignments throughout uni tend to keep you engaged/make you review the content.

don't know the song but would be willing to contribute some tips:
- https://wmich.edu/mus-theo/courses/keys.html - the effect of key signatures, use sparingly though because this particular philosophy was used centuries ago, however it can be good back-up evidence for why something feels a certain way
- upwards motion (chords, melody, etc) gives hope, downwards gives despair
- look at time signature (likely 4/4) - driving beat or lack thereof?
- word painting? e.g. does the music reflect the words? (a good one for english I feel)
- dissonance vs consonance

I'd be happy to help but I can't guarantee how often I'll reply

edit: okay I listened to the song, probably could talk about tone colour (accompaniment) and the texture thickening, do you get to analyse the music video as well, it could be good? the pulse strengthens about halfway...then the melody jumps up an octave, adds tension, climax...the sudden thinning of texture for the final verse thing

the coda is really interesting and different, definitely talk about the contrast, word painting in "pandemonium" due to the rapid switching of instruments, coda also disrupts thhe repetitive structure of the rest of the song

there's also tritones in the piano rearrangement but they're not as obvious in original (tritones are the "devil's chord", ultimate form of dissonance)
aaaaaaaah thank you! i was talking to the music teacher at my school, she thought it was a good song to analyse for english! as much as the music video is very cool (and analysable) my english teacher advised against it as the task is supposed to be more like an audiobook and not have any visuals.

in terms of what the music teacher said, she pointed out the last stanza (I wish I was me, whoever that is/I could just be and not give a shit/Hey, I'll be whatever makes you a fan/'Cause I don't know who the hell I am) being unaccompanied by the ‘mess’ of music, highlighting the reflection of the singers self identity and reflection of his human experiences. i can tie it into them loosing themselves to things such as technology (“am” is repeated in an electronic synth, cuts in melody to more electronic sounding instruments instead of an orchestra)
the bass line of the beginning is repetitive showing the begrudging of life and the last bit with all the different harmonies and melodies are them exploring the way their life could be. (which makes sense as the song is supposed to be a ‘table of contents’ of sorts for the rest of the album)
