for math I mostly used the fx 8200 au, however, for specifically combinations (like nCr), I used fx 100 au plus

upon finishin math, didn't rly have much use for the fx 8200 au cuz it was mad annoying so I mostly went back to fx 100 au plus for chem and now phys

for english I use desmos
would it be okay if i use wolfram alpha for english or is that not meta anymore?

apparently the new one has complex numbers on it. so you can input i which is kinda crazy but i don't think it's that big of an advantage + the perms and combs function is really annoying to use
i kinda wanna get it but mostly bc it leaves surds in exact form which might save me some time in exams

it also leaves certain trig angles in exact form

honestly i might get it. ik some people in standard 2 who have it so idk what im doing without one 😪
Also u can do logs on there which would save my ass but I’m planning to drop to std 2 so I wouldn’t need any of those features and I feel
Like getting used to the new calc outweighs the pros of the features
