When your mum drinks for 3 months non stop it's pretty easy to get away with it
If my dad doesn't let me delete it when I'm 18, I should try to move out as soon as possible and hopefully he won't care or notice or I'll beg them to let me study overseas. Or I can literally just buy myself my own cheap phone and then download whatever I want on it. Literally I can do it rn and hide it but then my parents can see where I spent my money so unless I deposit money out and find an excuse as to why I needed to deposit the money then it could work. Or I could just save up cash

lol I have a whole masterplan

Shame is a powerful weapon. Keep them to account. Let me guess, they are free to use their devices unlimited no?

yeah obv they can do whatever they want. But my dad also tried controlling my grandpa's use of yt and he thinks even adults have no self control so I won't have self control to not get addicted by social media. But if he has freedom I should have freedom period

Do you have a job? I'm pretty sure phone plans are pretty cheap which basically means that you pay off a pjhone in small monthly installements instead of an upfront cost.

This link to telstra above lets you pay for an iphone 13 for about $20.25 per month for 36 months until the full cost is paid.

I was so close to getting a job but my parents didn't want me to work at the place cause the areas was kinda sketchy. But it doesnt' even need to be an apple phone. I can get one of those cheap android phones which is for my super spy work hehe. But idk how I would be able to hide this and if I did get caught I would literally get disowned by my parents. So I don't think it's worth it until I'm 18 and if their still controlling what I can do

how does that work. But my dad uses qustodio and it alerts/ blocks social media websites in every browser. idk maybe it can work but idk how to download it without it alerting my dad. But imagine if I can pull this off hehe. Pls help @Tony Stark

From here you can download the browser, it should hide your activity. I'm not familiar with Qustodio, though. Also, maybe have a go at downloading bluestacks https://www.bluestacks.com/mac It basically lets you pretend your computer is a phone, and it is harder to track as well.

chat gpt says that tor can be alerted by qustodio so idk if I want to take that risk. I think it might still flag if I use social media, no matter what browser

kind of a random question but do you guys listen to music while you study? and if so, what do you listen to?
like those random lofi playlists on yt, classical/piano music and if I'm doing a really tedious task that doesnt' require me to use my brain then I'll just listen to my regular stuff

yep that is exactly what i was about to recommend about doing targeted practice by the dot point so that you can tick off all of them and i think that theres another thing called the traffic light method where you highlight each dot point in the syllabus in green yellow or red depending on how comfortable you are with it - if that makes sense? And then you eventually aim to get everything in the green!

im not trying to use this as an opportunity for promo but I actually built a platform that lets you do practice questions, build and print your own custom exams, and get (what I believe is the most accurate) ai marking that is targeted specifically and ONLY on those dot points (or inquiry questions, or modules) that you select. I sat my hsc last year and I built it alongside many well known and regarded tutors and teachers in the space and yeah, all of the people that have used it have found it extremely useful so far and I'm glad that it has helped with their learning. Because I was thinking that you shouldnt have to practice the entirity of a module if you are familiar with pretty much all of it but a few inquiry questions or dot points.

its called ExamLab (https://examlab.com.au). If you want to check it out, pretty much everything is free to use and I am losing money on all the people using it already hahah but to me i dont care as long as people can learn from it! When you are going through the signup, it will ask for a code if you have one (i.e, a referral code from a friend). If you enter "DAILYINTEGRAL", you can get some bonus rewards so that you can further run my pockets dry :)

I sacrificed my own hsc to built this hahaha and then I also built another maths platform during my hsc as well with one of my school friends called the daily integral which is now one of the biggest maths learning platforms in the world which still shocks me every single day that I somehow built it during my hsc.

anyways enjoy the rant and yeah have a lovely new year guys
holy shit dude you are incredible i hope you get into your dream uni and make so much money in the future no joke
