Has anybody had a proper look at organic chemistry reaction mechanisms? I have found them very interesting (and yes this is an excuse to keep procrastinating History, and somehow I have done 0 maths/english this holidays)
Why is bro looking at reaction mechanisms 😭

C2H6O but I don’t really mind cause its not really the most pronounceable username anyway

The project guys are crazy cracked
Is your chem tutor who made that flowchart also from project?

what's your flowchart like?
It’s in my profile under the resources tab. I feel like it’s a bit messier than I remember it now looking at it as a rusty non hsc student though.

Yep he is, I believe he's doing his PhD in medicinal chemistry right now
Thanks so much!

Is effervescence module 7 knowledge? It looks mod 8 but unsure. I believe it was carboxylic + carbonate --> CO2

guys do we need to memorise our student numbers? i heard some schools force you to write yours on exam papers and stuff but my school doesnt do that.
im pretty sure my school gave students their number on the day of the hsc exam on a little paper since they didnt have to memorise (also what if you memorise and remember it incorrectly?)

Yeah I go to project. I think it’s super chill there and I would do more subjects if I could make the money for it (I trialed classes and it just took me to another level)

ive been to the procons and omds they're so good. If it was closer to me I would have def gone, its just impractical with the transport costs added. I might do the trail classes right before leap starts. Hopefully id get max for chem 🥹

I'm pretty sure u do need to memorsie it. Well yeah theres always going to be that fear at the back of people's head that ur going to memorise it wrong but u cant do much about it. I remember for legal, someone wrote another student's nunber by accident. So on two exam papers had the same student nunber and they had to do this whole thing to figure out who's paper is whose. It wasnt too bad tbh but its probably a hassle for the teachers.

IMO most of the tutors are pretty good, depends what class you were trialling to who you'd get. FYI max does tuesdays and thursdays in chatswood, there are a couple of hornsby classes too (including another PhD students' on saturday), and one on saturday in chatswood that has another good teacher. there is a hornsby class on sunday and a chatswood class on sunday but I haven't had them/I prefer the other classes
