the crowd was so lovely, the only concert crowd i've ever felt fully safe in. they're still touring regularly in the u.s so tbh i wouldn't be surprised if they came back at some point!!!! i'd also love to see le tigre, tbh i just want to see kathleen hanna on stage again she was so good

i could unironically write a whole essay on why her newest album flopped. like it topped charts but nobody outside of swiftie circles ever talks about it except to critique it which tbh deserved. she can write really well but the whole album is so unedited and clearly her production team were all being yesmen so we get lyrics like "at dinner you take my ring off my middle finger and put it on the one people put wedding rings on".

ugh folklore/evermore truly was peak, they're such good albums and i can see snippets of that stuff tucked away in ttpd (the prophecy is one of my favourite songs to be released this year) but it's clouded by other messy and unedited stuff which sucks

tbh i think she needs to work with some different producers, i enjoy some of the stuff she's made with jack antonoff and especially aaron dessner but i think it'd be fun if for ts12 she tried working with a bunch of different people who are going to push her to edit her work

oh i 100% find the anthology better, and i'm also glad you enjoyed ttpd! tbh there are some really good songs which have kind of gotten buried, the prophecy is my personal fav of mine
