Pretty sure most tutoring places teach ahead
Not sure if they're good for actually learning math (not as in they're a bad tutoring, but as in if you have more difficulty in wrapping your head around a concept)

Yeah. Specialist class is the one that really teaches ahead, and has Mr Mai who is goated and teaches 2u, 3u and 4u. Advanced class teaches ahead a little bit, idk about the lowest level one

how do they determine which class you go into? ive been considering ngo but if they decide classes based off of what school u attend i might be cooked

You have to take an entrance test, it was year level stuff for me but im in a lower grade

i go selective but theres a few kids in my class(im in spec) that arent

i can't remember what the exact percentage is to pass the entrance test but from memory it was ~90% for guaranteed... but im like 3 years younger than you guys

I think you all aware that I’m an English/ modern history teacher and HSC market . Every Wednesday for the rest of the school term 2025 starting from 18/11 I will be at a library from 3pm to 5pm to help English / Modern History students individually or groups for free . You can decide thr library if you wish

I will mark essays , loom over assessments, give advice and be ready to help all you wonderful people staring your year 12 HSC journey .


I don’t know if anyone is interested but Ive seen all the questions you are asking re English so I thought I would make myself available and see what happens .

I'm unsure if I'd describe them as good. Last I remember, their questions tend to get very niche and oos. Their teaching style is very odd in my opinion, often rephrasing math terms???--> gets very confusing when you learn concepts in school I'd recommend proed, dr du, zhangs, or aljabr.

bro i remember i was telling my friend that tassering a kid is so over the edge and was NOT necessary, like the guy was in food tech class what if he already had the knife in his hand and walked out, if he REALLY wanted to harm someone he wouldve done it
also we can assume that what if the kid was being bullied all these years and finally snapped
and i read a testimony that a staff memeber saw him shaking his head and was really upset so obviously he wasnt going to harm anyone

but my friend said no excuse tassering him the right choice WHAT ARE YOU SAYING RN TO ME
but obviously i didnt comment bc well its not worth ending a friendship over
