hey so i dont think i understand very well adjustment factors,
does this mean that your ATAR changes or is just 'modified' for you course entry?

for example if i band 6 math and get 5 extra atar points on top of my 87 ATAR (eg) would my ATAR change to a 92? or only for my course entry?

No your ATAR does not actually change. The atar given to me didn't change to 99.95. It doesn't change your ATAR, but it increases your selection rank (what the uni sees when deciding whether to offer you a spot).

oh ok so basically you're still in the top 1.05% of the country but you're in the top 0.05% for uni selection?

i got 99.5+ without studying 9 hours a day and while keeping a job and social life, the main thing is to focus on your weaker subjects (for me this was English), get frequent and early feedback from your teachers to ace in school assignments and then really grind hard with past papers and make sure you’re learning from your mistakes in them for exams
when did u start properly focusing on english? for me essays just kill me my bases arent rlly ready and i dont attempt unseen questions either, my other subjects always look more divine to me

damn a little too late for me lol. I’m ranked first in English tho and honestly idk how that happened. I’m scared the next two assessments will lower my rank

I mean if ur already ranked first then ur kinda chilling like my problem was my ranking kinda sucked at the start so I had to like ace the rest of the in school assessments to have any chance of a b6
