oooh that sounds interesting tysmmmmforget the weird time and memory sucking souls stuff. just do urban decay and talk about the contrast between the manmade (lamp) and the natural (moon). the lamp is given authority and narrates as it sputters and mutters and says this one really fucking long sentence of dialogue. the moon is described in this really ugly (i forgot how- i wanna so something about crooks or wrinkles? idk) as you creep toward the last page of the poem (you can interpret this in whatever way you want - which is good because you can just flip it to answer the question). so the moon is like the victim, the lamp is just stomping over everything and the moon is seen as this evil been with her face crust and evil lunar incantations. idk
oh period okay maybe i just dont want to talk about anglocatholicism..... im so worried about doing poorly on account of not properly hitting the textual integrity element since we never had an assessment on mod bits about spiritual renewal and transformation. it showcases the struggles that arise with spiritual transformations with references to 'death' meaning like death of old values/beliefs/systems. also shows how individuals feel alienated when they let go of these ideas etc
That is so stupid wthmy mod b is 15% and mod a, c and paper 1 are 5%. like my common mod essay was literally 2.5% why did i even try at that point lol
Just draw links between the poems casually and talk about "stylistic integrity" and you'll be fineoh period okay maybe i just dont want to talk about anglocatholicism..... im so worried about doing poorly on account of not properly hitting the textual integrity element since we never had an assessment on mod b
yeah okay ive done all that hopefully i'll be okay. the weighting on mod b is insane it's such a hard unitJust draw links between the poems casually and talk about "stylistic integrity" and you'll be fine
Also a useful point is that they're all about some sort of journey, but the only one that gets anywhere is Magi
nah just memorise mod bguys pls i need genuine advice i already memorised my creative should i memorise my discurisve or no i dont feel like it and i think it wont be asked it might be an option i need to memorise mod b
okay thx im just scared if they ask for discurisvenah just memorise mod b
ooh im doing that with preludes instead of prufrockExactlyyy I do Prufrock + Hollow Men + Magi because it shows a progression the best
I kinda feel like replacing prufrock with preludes tho
def work on mod b more. you can always fiddle w your imaginative to make it discursive in a worst case scenario it's def not worth memorising bothguys pls i need genuine advice i already memorised my creative should i memorise my discurisve or no i dont feel like it and i think it wont be asked it might be an option i need to memorise mod b
oh its just a metaphor for the search for spiritual transcendence, the magi's journey is the journey of one seeking Christstraight up i just dont get it LMAO
