mechanical and civil r the best by farDamn that actually sounds really good, I’ll keep that in mind
The main fields I was looking into were mechanical and civil before I got distracted by hsc and trials lol

this is so reall. for me, its usually in maths cause its rlly annoying with those small writing bookletsYea I get that, I am kinda worried they won’t be able to read my work bc I hate getting extra booklets it’s so annoying
OHHH nvm I didn’t write on that lolThis one. It’s on every exam

ya bc they rip out the pages and scan them to give to other markers. and if u write outside of those lines, it risks being missed by scanningthe "don't make marks below this line" is just so nothing gets cut off right? bc i was always terrified id get disqualified or something for writing in the wrong place
thats mad. very set on engineering next year for unsw and am juggling between like telecomms or mechanical atm IDKKits very diverse, first year you learn everything from pure maths to electrical circuits and group design. it's hard, but engineering is such a well-respected degree that you can transfer into pretty much anything you want with a half-decent WAM.
u can also do many jobs that arent engineering with an engineering degree, for example, my WAM is currenly 90 and if i keep that up i would 100% get recruited by an investment bank at my graduation time. companies want people with engineering degrees for business positions since they tend to be more analytical. engo is a very flexible degree
oo excitinggg! dont worry much abt the discipline cos u can LITERALLY change it in seconds on the myunsw website at any point during the year if you have a change of heart. if u like engineering youll love the facilities at unswthats mad. very set on engineering next year for unsw and am juggling between like telecomms or mechanical atm IDKK
It will be 37 in the westEveryone in Sydney doing math or having an exam on Monday and Wednesday is getting cooked in 34 - 35 degree weather bro wtf is this
woah, thats a super impressive WAM !!! also, are trimesters really as bad as everyone says?its very diverse, first year you learn everything from pure maths to electrical circuits and group design. it's hard, but engineering is such a well-respected degree that you can transfer into pretty much anything you want with a half-decent WAM.

thankyouu !! trimesters arent that bad, they are fs overhated and they make the school transition a bit easier as they are similar to the 4 term system. its just that some courses feel that they havent been fully adapted to the trimester system so some topics feel rushed. apart from that, its fine, u just dont get matching holidayswoah, thats a super impressive WAM !!! also, are trimesters really as bad as everyone says?
Im tryna get into mechanical, since med is out of my vision nowmechanical and civil r the best by far
wait if ur replying to the link I sent thats 63 atar cont, and the 80 isnt the original mark its scaled. my head of hsc told me that means the original mark was lower so probs in the 70s.an 80 in hospo turns into a 63 are we fr
What the fuckan 80 in hospo turns into a 63 are we fr
its not amazing, lower atar requirement so of course not as competitive. i wouldnt recommend any universities other than unsw, newcastle, or usyd in nsw for engineering. wsu doesnt offer the easy + PAID internships that the others offer. wsu also doesnt provide the industry connections that the other unis offer (unsw is best for industry conns)Do you know anything about WSU engineering?
