ion even go unsw or work at legal aidmaybe... hi queen
but 99 lat and you said you had legal aid cases open once I think maybe. maybe it was a different green lawyerion even go unsw or work at legal aid
distinction average is near impossible to retain in usyd law if you have a life. usyd artificially grades harshly to keep their 'prestige' and is curved harshly. the marking criteria for a mark over 85 is literally 'striking originality of approach or analysis' - you have to do something the marker has basically never seen. if you get literally everything correct, you get slugged with a 65 or so.Would a distinction be difficult in usyd? Also why is usyd harder to get better marks than unsw?
legal aid is not the only organisation that takes legal aid matters. many private firms take a small amount.but 99 lat and you said you had legal aid cases open once I think maybe. maybe it was a different green lawyer
'small amount' u said like 150 or smth <///3 wait and did you not go to unsw? i thought it was better than usydlegal aid is not the only organisation that takes legal aid matters. many private firms take a small amount.
don't a lot of firms only hire distinction average graduates? if so why are usyd law students considered more hireabledistinction average is near impossible to retain in usyd law if you have a life. usyd artificially grades harshly to keep their 'prestige' and is curved harshly. the marking criteria for a mark over 85 is literally 'striking originality of approach or analysis' - you have to do something the marker has basically never seen. if you get literally everything correct, you get slugged with a 65 or so.
does usyd only scale law subjectsdistinction average is near impossible to retain in usyd law if you have a life. usyd artificially grades harshly to keep their 'prestige' and is curved harshly. the marking criteria for a mark over 85 is literally 'striking originality of approach or analysis' - you have to do something the marker has basically never seen. if you get literally everything correct, you get slugged with a 65 or so.

its not properly scaled. it's like a soft rule within the markers heads that x% hd, y% d etc. etc.does usyd only scale law subjects
Do employers not take this into account when they look at unsw vs usyd grads (assuming they are similar in every other aspect)distinction average is near impossible to retain in usyd law if you have a life. usyd artificially grades harshly to keep their 'prestige' and is curved harshly. the marking criteria for a mark over 85 is literally 'striking originality of approach or analysis' - you have to do something the marker has basically never seen. if you get literally everything correct, you get slugged with a 65 or so.
not enough, most people are probably better off going uts over usyd law actually (presuming they would get much better marks there -> for employment outcomes for law). the formal big programs tend to want some sort of 'equality' which actually disadvantages usyd. now as for small firms, ye they are heavily biased towards usydDo employers not take this into account when they look at unsw vs usyd grads (assuming they are similar in every other aspect)
So unsw is probably the best idea then? So the wam doesnt end up taking a massive hit. Im not very interested in going uts nor would my parents let me go.hardly, most people are probably better off going uts over usyd law actually. the formal big programs tend to want some sort of 'equality' which actually disadvantages usyd. now as for small firms, ye they are heavily biased towards usyd
unsw law is hard but not insane. The best part about it is that it has similar prestige to usyd law but doesn’t have closed book tests, doesn’t have 100% finals, and has many other initiatives such as peer support to help u get through the course. I’d vouch for it but am a little biasedSo unsw is probably the best idea then? So the wam doesnt end up taking a massive hit. Im not very interested in going uts nor would my parents let me go.
idk a single uts law student whose first choice was uts. its usually not a matter of choice lmaoSo unsw is probably the best idea then? So the wam doesnt end up taking a massive hit. Im not very interested in going uts nor would my parents let me go.
Icic. So even tho ppl know this im curious on why they choose to go usydunsw law is hard but not insane. However much less get in through uts, and even less get in through MQ.
