im so unfathomably late but good lord forced discursive was nuts my response was ALL over the place. I wrote 15 pages overall though so that felt good - am I crazy for thinking the elective question worked well for WoU? I thought it connected pretty easily to the syllabus point about "how texts representing worlds of social and political change may challenge literary conventions and traditional societal values."

Regardless I should probably get to studying for drama which I haven't started but if I felt good about writing these MAMMOTH essays I feel like I could write anything that subject throws at me

Why perpetuate yourself to go through such a useless subject

Unlike Maths Extension 1 and 2, the only thing you gain from this subject is a 'better individualistic/critical view on your life' bullshit

No uni is going to care whether or not you took this rubbish. Im pretty sure this subject isnt even necessary. English Advanced would be enough for most literature/law etc courses

Most of the people here will bicker about how this rubbish helps you develop a better critical bullshit, etc. Trust me no one in the real world cares. You can go by fine by even just doing English Standard

No 7 pages for LW and 8 pages for elective dw 15 pages on one essay would be insane (I like to think my handwriting is on the moderate-large side but idc if 7 pages isn't even that many cuz I wrote so much less in trials.)
