im dying over mod c could anyone give me some feedback on my concept for the imaginative? i just need a fresh mind to look at it. any advice would be appreciated
so the concept is the narrator is a tree on a suburban street (im thinking first person pov), who observes passers by OR the family whose yard its planted in
theres opportunity for metaphors and imagery with seasonal changes, birds living in the tree, a nest/treehouse, items left at the tree (like a scarf tied around it or something)
depending on the prompt theres potential for adaptation as the environment changes around the tree OR an individual who constantly returns to the tree OR the tree is elsewhere (middle of nowhere, in a park, in a pot, etc)
my main concerns are that if its too indirect to have a character observe others rather than just narrate the individuals, and also that its an inanimate narrator.
also i havent really thought about links to Nam Le (mod C text) if a reflection asks for it
so idk (i havent actually written anything yet)
