What is some great(bad) advice you would give ur younger self? (2 Viewers)

I got inspired by this video. I’ll go first
- Def lock in 110% in ur junior years cause it def will inflate ur atar by like 50 points
- U should def cry and go kill urself after u get a 99% on an exam cause that will def cause u to get a 30 atar
- Guys Eng is soooo easy like u just look out at the window and ur argument against why Shakespeare is the greatest writer of all time will def just magically pop up into ur head. I totally don't cry about this subject every week and I def would have kept it if it wasn't compulsory
- also def talk back and teachers and get into a argument with them about why they suck at teaching. Just use ur Eng analysis argument skills that I totally have down packed to outsmart ur own math teacher (dw I haven’t done this before)
- also u should def 200% choose sac because it is literally the most interesting subject ever and now everything in society is making sense. And my relationships and the whole political state of the world will def fall into place
- and if u fail math just give up, if people are doing better than u just give up and drop out

( ok I over exaggerated this stuff so much lol but it makes it more funny lol)

kinda actually good advice..? like you shouldnt worry about adulthood, you should just worry about your next immediate steps. over scoping is very real and can lead to bad mental health.

honestly i would say to not stress in junior years. tell me why i was literally sobbing over an 88 last year. like i was bawling my eyes out... like pls kids life is literally not that deep. it really isn't

I'd prob tell myself to have more confidence and self-love

as a kid and teen I was very insecure about my exterior bc of beauty standards and trends on social media, I'd compare myself to those and also the people around me who looked "ideal", conventionally attractive and were popular and stuff. I had a toxic relationship with food at some point and a fixation with my weight, I would also hate to see myself in the mirror, hated my rosacea, my teeth, the size of my feet, skin colour, shit I would get kinda bullied for in like primary... ... this went on for years I don't struggle with body image or my old insecurities as much anymore, at all really, I love being in my own skin and taking care of myself (after learning to) and I'm happy now, just makes me sad occasionally when I think about my younger self

so yeah I'd tell my younger self to not be so harsh or repulsed by my own body and face like it's not worth being crippled by those thoughts. it kinda ruins your childhood when you're busy half the time hating who you are. I would tell myself that being skinny at the price of starving or depriving myself of nice food isn't okay and that it's ok to smile with my teeth showing, I'd say a lot more too but that's kinda the idea
