Hey guys, im currently in Blacktown Boys HS, and my family is deciding to move to chatswood to change our lifestyle. Should I support the move, and what do you guys suggest? I have lived in the blacktown area all my life and am downgrading if I decide to move houses

Do you have any ability to affect their decision? It might be best for everyone if you go along with it, if you can't make them stay where you are
It does sound like a rough situation if you're leaving a selective for a public... I would say, try to find some positives

public- chatswood high school, balgowlah boys if you're after a boys school. theres also some good girls schools in the area but i see that you are not a girl
selective- chatswood high school(partial selective), manly nsbc, nsb but it's hard to get into
private- ehh. st pius maybe?
do you mean "downgrading" as in houses? schools in the chatswood area are ranked higher than bbhs
