Damn. Is there anyone who got into baulko entry into yr 9 willing to share their results?I would assume so![]()
Do you know when was the deadline for shortlisted students to lodge application? I applied for y8 and the deadline not due yet. If they has same deadline as for y8, how come the results are out before due date.Nsb offers are out for Y11 Entry![]()
It works differently for yr 11 entry. I was shortlisted last year for nsb but due to lack of positions, deadlines and allat are usually set for later. Last year it was around 28th September when I got the shortlisted email. Not exactly sure when the deadline isDo you know when was the deadline for shortlisted students to lodge application? my mum is in a discussion forum with other random parents and apparently they got offers or smtIs this your guess or actually you know someone got it today?
Yeah I was offered yesterday, about 10 days after shortlist due dateDid you get offer this year? How long did it take for sending offer after shortlisted due dat?
Congratulations. Can I ask how many superios you had? What is the process after getting shortlisted? They called you for interview or just emailed you the offer straight away? Do they offer based on the results first? If tie they will look at extra curricular? Example 5 kids have 5 super but super means 11%, one may be in 1%, other may be 2,5 or 10%. Would the one at 1% get offered first?Yeah I was offered yesterday, about 10 days after shortlist due date
I had 3 superiors and 2 above averages. After being shortlisted you normally have to submit an application containing academic achievements and extracurriculars. They then evaluate the applications and if there’s positions you may be offered and if not, reserve list. There was no interview, since I applied for y11 entry I had to do the year 10 science yearly and that influenced whether I got into any science courses at the school. I don’t know if the exam actually influenced them to pick me. Since you are not applying for y11 entry I doubt you’d have to do any additional exams so you’d most likely get the offer next after submitting the application. Nsb is quite nice as if you do well in the edutest you’ll have a very high chance of making it in. They definitely look at extra curriculars hence why you send them an application. It depends on whether you’re still well rounded, if someone got 5 superiors but had no extra curriculars but someone got 4 superiors and had decent extra curriculars, I think they’d be more inclined to pick the person who got 4 superiors first. Hope that answers everything lmaoCongratulations. Can I ask how many superios you had? What is the process after getting shortlisted? Thank you for the insights. I have 4 superiors and extra curricular not too bad, I had a few HD, D and prizes for competitions during year 5-7 not only academically but like stem. I submitted profile in shortlisted portal but the said currently no spot available for y8 entry. So heartbreakingI had 3 superiors and 2 above averages.
