Hi everyone,

I’m currently in Year 9 at Baulkham Hills and my Term 3 English assessment is focused on Romeo and Juliet. I’m finding essay writing and Shakespeare analysis really challenging and would like to find a private one-on-one tutor to help me improve over about 4 weeks.

Ideally, I’m looking for someone who can actually teach me how to write strong essays and understand the text, not just give vague feedback. My school and teachers haven’t been very helpful, so I’d appreciate a tutor who can guide me through the process step-by-step.

I live in Cherrybrook and can travel around 10–20 minutes. If you know anyone reliable and experienced with English and Shakespeare, please let me know.

Thanks so much!

i also go to one of the top selective schools in the state and more often than not the students carry the schools ranking not the teachers. we're still underfunded public schools and in my experience in a faculty of like 8 teachers only 1 or 2 will actually be good at their job. hence students go to tutoring instead and those tutors + the work of the students ultimately result in the school doing well.
