Guys how do I find the negative values. Do I minus 360 from each value
pi is 180, so your range is [-180, 180]
From 0-180, find where tan is positive
From 0 - -180, find where tan is negative.
Does that give the right answer? I'm honestly not too sure if that's how it's solved.

the usual period for tanx is pi (180 degrees) but for tan3x the period changes to 1/3 pi (or 60 degrees). this means you can expect the same answer, ie a point on the tan graph that equals 1 on the y axis every 60 degree increments/rotations if that makes sense.
tan3x=1, and since tan45=1, you can conclude that 45=3x, so x=15.
knowing your first value of tan3x, you can then just add/subtract 60 degrees continually from 15 degrees and exclude any values that exceed your domain

Just had my common module english advanced assessment today and I think I bombed it. Does anyone have any tips on how to improve timing issues in comp? And how long should each of your analysis be? Thanks
