i would be freaking out if i were u knowing they can reject u for the smallest reasonsmy med friends, is anybody else freaking out about interviews
Genuine question for prospective med students too, why do yall want to go straight into med? Isn't there post-grad routes to do medicine? I feel like all the stress isn't worth it (in my very unambitious opinion).imagine slaving away for an amazing atar for med just for the interviewers to reject u
fr and undergrad med is still a relatively new course too. Doesn't it only make a 1-2 year difference in the course of your career anyway?Genuine question for prospective med students too, why do yall want to go straight into med? post-grad routes are just as stressful if not more stressful from what I've seen (maintaining a good WAM, doing the GAMSAT, ensuring you did the right units in your undergrad degree, etc) - you have to do an interview anyways tooGenuine question for prospective med students too, why do yall want to go straight into med? Isn’t post grad routes more stressful coz it isn’t guaranteed, your competing against so many others especially with the gamsat and so many ppl get left with undergrad degrees they don’t even wantGenuine question for prospective med students too, why do yall want to go straight into med? I see what your saying, cause I spent the whole yr working towards it, only for my UCAT not go well, but I'm planning on trying again next yr hopefully.Genuine question for prospective med students too, why do yall want to go straight into med? yeah the most optimal undergrad is supposedly medical science, but it's arguably more competitive than the BMed/MD stream and you might get saddled with a degree that is literally useless unless you go for the MD pathwayIsn’t post grad routes more stressful coz it isn’t guaranteed, your competing against so many others especially with the gamsat and so many ppl get left with undergrad degrees they don’t even want
Fr, I have considered every possible career paths but medicine and the army so I have a great admiration for anyone who wants to get into medicine.I genuinely couldnt even consider medicine same with even bio I find it too yucky idk i cant find a better way to explain it![]()
