Site: http://news.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=173703Glenn McGrath will reportedly hand a letter of resignation to Cricket Australia today, confirming he is ready to quit the game but wants to play until the end of next year's World Cup in the West Indies.
The 36-year-old will fly to Melbourne today and deliver the letter that confirms the fifth Ashes Test in Sydney will be his last, The Herald Sun says.
"I am not sure what's happening after Sydney but I want to go to the World Cup," McGrath was quoted as saying.
McGrath would have announced his decision earlier this week but did not want to rain on Shane Warne's retirement parade.
The sudden departures of the dynamic duo brings to an end the most potent bowling combination in cricket history. Warne and McGrath played 103 Tests together, taking 1254 Test wickets between them.
What do you guys reckon?
